He was the son of David and Karen Hoffman. He attended the Pittsburgh Culinary Art School to pursue his passion of cooking, studied computer science at Goodwill Computer Industries, was a skilled carpenter and a car enthusiast. He had a fondness of animals, a strong love for his family and an extreme faith in God. He was noted for his genuine heart of gold.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacklyn Hoffman; great-grandparents, Henry and Pearl Gorka; grandparents, Victor and Cecelia Hoffman; nephew, Owen Kubis, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Surviving are one brother, Mike (Heather) Hoffman, Economy; one sister, Laura (Jason) Kubis, Cranberry Twp., Grandparents Bob and Joanne Gaydos, Center Twp., several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Lutheran Church, 200 Second Ave., Freedom PA, 15042.
