Andrew R. (Whitey) Mikush, III, lifetime resident of Harmony Township, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, December 13, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, at the age of 73. He was born in Sewickley on March 10, 1945, to the late Andrew R. and Helen (Persuitte) Mikush. He was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend to all. Survived by daughters, Andrea (husband Heinz) Werle and Antoinette (husband Matt) Diulus; brother, Robert (Janet) Mikush; sister, Roberta Mikush Sciulli (husband Dave Carlson); beloved uncle to Bob (wife Laura) Mikush, Bryan (wife Cindy) Mikush, Justin (wife Deanna) Sciulli, Luke Sciulli and Katie Carlson; and great-uncle to Ryan Mikush and Amanda Mikush. A 1963 graduate of Ambridge High School, Whitey worked for 38 years in the family business Mikush Appliance. Due to his pleasant demeanor and skill, many customers specifically requested him. Active in the community, Whitey was a long-time member of the Ambridge Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Ambridge Rotary Club (1988-90) and was named Rotarian of the Year in 2008 and received the Rotary Foundation International Paul Harris Fellow Award Certificate of Honor in 2015. He was also a board member of the New Alliance Federal Credit Union in Ambridge. He enjoyed working on cars and riding motorcycles with his many friends, launching fireworks at community events as part of the Zambelli team and was a fixture at the funnel cake booth on behalf of the Rotary Club. He loved to cook and share his creations with family and friends. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, December 16th from 2 to 8 p.m. at KASPER-HAHN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 547 Eighth Street, Ambridge, (724-266-2549), followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. Monday, December 17th at Good Samaritan Church, 8th Avenue, Ambridge. Interment will follow at Sewickley Cemetery. David ” Gus” Getty, 52, of New Sewickley Twp., passed away on November 21, 2018, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Charlotte (Isett) Getty. He was a member of the Unionville American Legion, an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley Davidson. He was a skilled and passionate carpenter, and a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by the love of his life, Karen (Dishler) Getty; three daughters, Shyanne Getty, Nevada Getty, and Haylie Helbig; two sons, Kody Helbig, Ethan Helbig; three sisters, Diane (Tom) Funk, Darla McGee and Debbie Getty; two brothers, Duane Getty and Darren Getty; one grandson, Domenic Clyde; loving mother-in-law, Patricia Sproull and father-in-law, Ken Dishler; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Clementine (Clemy) Ordons of Ambridge died November 21, 2018, at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver Valley Medical Center. She was born January 27, 1953, to Louis J. and Catherine (Ricciardi) Vita. She married Michael Ordons on September 29, 1973, at Christ the King Church. She was a lifelong Ambridge resident, where she was a member of Good Samaritan Parish. Clemy worked as a medical assistant in the office of Dr. John Moraca in Sewickley for many years until her retirement in 2014. During their 45 years of marriage, she and Michael had many enjoyable trips on the Harley. Clemy enjoyed spending time with her family, visiting with friends, going to the horse races, and watching the Steelers, Penguins, TCM movies and Jeopardy on TV. She was a member of the Ambridge Eagles Women’s Auxiliary. In addition to her parents and their siblings, she was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Vita, Jr., a beloved uncle, Terry Ricciardi and mother-in-law Alice Harvatin. Survivors include her husband, Michael; sisters, Mary Rose Och, Karen Vita, and Terry Anne Vita; nieces, Tamara Edwards, Kerry Och, Dana Och (Chris Cannon); a nephew, William Och (Michele); great-nieces and nephews, Tyler and Christian Edwards, Jordyn, Ryan, Madalyn, Dylan Och and Teagan Och. Other survivors include sisters-in-law, Kathleen Harr (James) and Lorraine Edwards; brother-in-law James Ordons; nephew, Mark Edwards; nieces, Amanda Cruz (Wilfredo) and Brieanna Edwards; a great niece and nephew. Clemy is also survived by many cousins, former work colleagues, and lifelong friends Ron Havranek, Cheryl Fortney, Willie and Patricia Ryan, John Moraca, and Julie Dorazio. Edmund Binkoski of Ambridge passed away on October 23, 2018. He is the son of the late Lawrence and Margaret Binkoski. He was the beloved husband of 58 years to Betty (Marchwinski) Binkoski He is preceded in death by his loving son, Paul Sheffield, all siblings except one brother, Lawrence. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Binkoski; a son, Michael Binkoski; four grandchildren, Andrew, Elizabeth, Catherine, Veronica; four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Todd Schmidt, 53, of Baden, passed from this world on Monday, October 22, 2018. He was the son of Ted and Cecilia Schmidt, Baden, with whom he resided. Todd is survived by his beloved daughter, Peyton Kennedy, Ambridge; a brother, Kevin Schmidt, Oak View, Calif; a nephew, Adam Kutzko; brother-in-law, Steven Kutzko, Queenstown, Md.; a niece Beth (Jeffery) Kutzko Pettit, Millerstown, Md.; and many good friends, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Todd was preceded in death by his loving sister, Lori Schmidt Kutzko in 2010, along with his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He graduated from Ambridge Area High school in 1984. He was currently employed as a HVAC Technician at BVSM, Monaca. He was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Steelers, and Pirates, to which he attended many games in the winter months. His absolute joy was skiing. He was a loving and caring person to his family and many friends. Todd will be missed most of all for his fun nature and beautiful smile. Robert A. “Bob” Gulish, 67, of Harmony Twp., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 21, 2018, following complications from kidney failure. He was the son of the late Peter and Irene (Walko) Gulish. He is survived by his wife, Tina (Kouvaras) Gulish; his children, Chad Bartlett, Washington, D.C.; Bob (Allyson) Gulish Jr., Ambridge, and Brandon (Sarah) Gulish, Philadelphia; grandchildren, Jadyn, Eli, Norris, Demi and Hattie; sister, Patricia (Rick) Antolic, Baden; brother, John Gulish, Aliquippa, and many nieces and nephews.
