On Monday, November 30, 2015 Age 85 of Ambridge passed away at home
with her family by her side. Born Feb 6, 1930 in Beaver Falls, she was the
daughter of the lateVincent and Josephine Timpano. Irene was a 1947
graduate of Beaver Falls High School and was active in the band
(clarinet). She spent countless hours helping in family business,
Timpano’s Market (College Hill Beaver Falls), and worked at
Mellon Bank in her early twenties. Irene married Elmer Colorito
(Ambridge) in 1955 and moved to Ambridge and Economy Boro were
they raised their five Children. Elmer died an untimely death in 1988, and
Irene returned to part time work,and later retired as secretary’s aid at
Ambridge’s Anthony Wayne Elementry school in 2005. She was a proud
parishioner of Christ the King / Good Samaritan Catholic Church , Ambridge.
Irene will be most remembered for her devotion to her husband, children,
and grandchildren, in addition to so many aunts,uncles, cousins,
nieces and nephews. Irene was known for love of cooking and baking.
She had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a smile on her face.
She is survived by her children Christine DeLuca of Chagrin Falls OH,
Vincent (Mary) Colorito of Jacksonville Fl., Andrea (Tim) Moore of
Langhorne, PA, Beth Colorito of Ambridge Pa., Alan Colrito of
New Sewickley PA . Also 8 grandcildren, Alex Deluca, Sarah (Jeff)
Copp, Alex and Charlotte Colorito, Tim and Arica Moore, and Dante and
Ava Colorito.
