Donna Jean (Kohut) Vicente, 67, changed addresses on Saturday, September 9, 2017 when she passed to her Heavenly home to meet Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. Donna resided at Masonic Village for the past 10 years, and died due to complications from her illness. Having been born in Sewickley on June 10, 1950 to Eugene and MaryAnn Kohut, her beloved parents who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by the love of her life, James (Kimo) Vicente. She is survived by her children Eric Vicente of Conway, PA and Leah Vicente (Rick Hufnagle) of Evans City, PA. She is also survived by her sister Marlene (Bill) Wilkie of The Villages Florida, Niece Michelle (Justin) Tiews of Attleboro MA. Nephew Buzz (Farrah) Wilkie of Huntersville, NC. Great nephews and nieces Joshua and Hannah Tiews, Braden and Bennett Wilkie, Kendall and Garret Ruffalo. Her Masonic family, staff and many cousins and dear friends.
For over 30 years, Donna was an emergency room nurse at Heritage Valley Hospital (formerly Sewickley Valley) and will be remembered fondly for her kindness and caring of her patients. Having been a patient herself for the last 10 years. Donna never forgot the extensive training and was aware of what was expected by staff and patient. Her love for the profession was only exceeded by her love for her son and daughter. Her ever present smile, smart sarcasm, and goofy grin toward the end will be forever embedded in our hearts. The people who knew Donna and cared for her most were the staff of Masonic Village. They took care of her and adopted her into their family as many of them were with her throughout her illness. There will be a void in their hearts and mostly the hearts of her Children and her Sister. The family would like to thank Masonic and Amedisys Hospice for their care during these last few weeks.

INC., 547 Eighth Street, Ambridge (724) 266-2549, Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 2-4 and 6-8 followed by a service on Wednesday Sept. 13 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
