Bruce W. Wolf Economy Borough Bruce W. Wolf, 62, of Economy Borough, passed away on March 26, 2018, after a brief illness. He was the son of Norman J. Wolf and Rhea Gregorek. He worked many years as a machine operator with both J&L and Vincent Metal Goods. He held two master’s degrees in Pastoral Counseling, where he counseled inmates at the Beaver County Jail. He taught C.C.D. at Good Samaritan Parish, Ambridge. He was an avid outdoorsman, skillful craftsman, and a fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Stephen Gregorek. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Karen (Gazda) Wolf; four children, Dan (Renee) Wolf, Mike (Rachel) Wolf, Patti (Rick) Crusciel and Bob (Kelly) Wolf; seven grandchildren, Vinni, Samantha, Mikayla, Logan, Alyssa, Lucas and Angel; one brother, Alan (Ruth) Wolf, and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday, April 2, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the KASPER-HAHN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 547 Eighth St., Ambridge, (724-266-2549). A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. at Good Samaritan Parish, Ambridge. Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Cemetery, Fair Oaks.

Dorothy Skonieczny, of Harmony Township, went peacefully home to the Lord on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Villa St. Joseph in Baden, PA. She lived independently in her own home until hospitalization in late January.
She was the daughter of the late James and Anna McCartney. Dorothy was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and sister. She enjoyed cooking for her family and celebrating birthdays, holidays, weddings and other special occasions. She loved to read, garden and go dancing. Hardworking all her life, she held many jobs and eventually retired from Westinghouse Electric. She was a lifelong member of the Good Samaritan Catholic Church, Ambridge. Surviving are daughters Karen Cain of Reisterstown, MD and Marcie (Joe) Alaica of Monaca and son Jim (Marian Broz) Skonieczny of Green Tree; granddaughter Deborah Schwartz (Rob Racines) of Beaver Falls and grandsons Donnie Cermak of New Brighton, Donnie (Beth) Cain of Parkton, MD and Tim Cain of Reisterstown, MD; twin great-grandsons Chad and Troy Schwartz and their father Charles Schwartz; great-grandson Jeremy and great-granddaughter Ashley Cain of Parkton, MD; sister Peg Kerr of Crescent and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were husband Henry (Sugar) Skonieczny, a daughter Donna Cermak, her sister Ann McCartney and son-in-law Donald Cain. Family and friends will be received from 3-8 PM Wednesday at Kasper-Hahn Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 547 Eighth St., Ambridge, where prayers will be offered at 10:30 AM Thursday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in Good Samaritan Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Cemetery. Blanca Caballero Trochez of Ambridge, age 53 passed on March 8, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice Wexford.
