On Friday, February 16, 2018 age 65 of Monaca Preceded in death by his parents Carl and Virginia Hittie. Great nieceqq Abby Hillbery. Father of Carl Jason Hittie of Baden. Grandfather of Porsche Marie Hittie, Ambridge. Brother of Sandy Trapold (Charles Beranger) of Viera, Florida, Betty (William) Frye of Bridgewater, Alice (Leland) Dambaugh of Conway. Carl was an avid hunter and fisherman and retired member of Steamfitters Local 115, Local 47 and Local 449. ![]() Francis “Junior” Wagner, 82 of Ambridge passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born February 8, 1935, he was the son of the late Frank and Jane (Rygalski) Wagner. For the past 11 years, Francis was a resident of Allegheny Valley Schools and lived at Wildwood Group Home in Beaver, PA. Francis was a kind soul, who loved watching westerns on TV and old classic movies, going to program at the Zapp Center/AVS and on outings with his peers. He always had a handshake to greet you or a wave of his hand. He will be truly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Francis was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Albert Pinkosky, his sister and brother-in-law Eleanor and Francis Batrla and his nephew Mark Batrla. He is survived by his nephew David and his wife Carol Pinkosky, Economy Boro, and his niece Donna and her husband Ernie Rotolo, Center Twp., several cousins, and his extended family at Wildwood Group Home. The family would like to thank the staff at Allegheny Valley Schools especially Wildwood Group Home and the Zapp Center and Senior Program for the loving care, compassion, support and friendship they gave Francis. Ronald Carrodus Jr. Ambridge Ronald Carrodus Jr., of Ambridge, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospice on Monday, February 5, 2018. He was the son of the late Ronald Carrodus Sr. and Eileen (Anderson) Carrodus. He was born in Sewickley, and was in the United States Army where he proudly served his country; he will be greatly missed by his best friend, his dog, Daisy. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carole Gilchrist; his father-in-law, Steve Longo; and mother-in-law, Mary Longo. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Anna Mae (Longo) Carrodus; a son, Ronald (Michelle) Carrodus, Center Twp.; daughters, Stacy (Vince) Fernandez, Harmony Twp., and Heather (Sean) Pelkey, Dover, Pa.; one brother, Richard Carrodus, Vancouver, Wash.; and eight grandchildren, to which he adored, Zachary, Alyssa, Austin, Alexis, Lauren, Brandon, Ashton, and Adam. Friends will be received on Thursday, January 8, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the KASPER-HAHN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 547 Eighth Street, Ambridge, (724) 266-2549. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday 9:30 at Good Samaritan Church, Ambridge. Interment to follow at Good Samaritan Cemetery, Fair Oaks, where full military honors will be received.
Brandon Christopher Cox Ambridge Brandon Christopher Cox, age 32, of Ambridge, died on Friday, February 2, 2018. Son of Robert D. Cox of Ambridge and Lisa Cox of Hopewell Twp., he was the brother of Robert Anthony (Raquel) Cox of Pittsburgh, and Alexis Clair Frey of Saxonburg; grandson of Robert R. Cox of Center Twp. and Anthony and Rose Crusciel of Harmony Twp.; uncle of Alyvia and Demitria Cox; nephew of Randy Cox, Steve Latoche, Anthony Crusciel III, Gregory Crusciel, Denise (Frank) Salopek and Rick (Patti) Crusciel. Many cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dolores Cox, and uncle, Roy Cox. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the KASPER-HAHN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 547 Eighth St., Ambridge, (724-266-2549), where a blessing service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of Alleghenies. Brandon was a graduate of Center High School and an Army veteran serving twice in Afghanistan in the 82nd Airborne Division. Brandon was an avid sportsman.
