But whether you knew her as Ma, Grandma, Nunna, or Great Grandma; as a sister, aunt, friend, patient, or parishioner, she was always prepared to feed you. The aromas of her homemade sauce, biscotti, meatballs, and roasted hot peppers epitomized Sunday dinners for her family. In this way she shared her love and thanks for those she knew, going so far as to make sure even her caregivers were eating well. Angeline’s strength was persistent, admirable, and remarkable throughout her life. Interacting with her meant immediately recognizing her indomitable spirit and sharp wit, traits with which she never ceased to magnetize people to her. It also meant being sharply reminded not to leave without a coat. Anyone who visited encountered walls filled with pictures of relatives, children, and grandchildren, cards from family and friends and rosaries, crosses and prayer cards on every surface. She made clear that her endless ability to persevere was due to her unyielding love of family and abiding faith in God. Family would like to thank nurses, doctors and staff at Villa St. Joseph for their loving care.
