Alice was the first of 12 siblings in Ambridge and grew up on the 600 block of Glenwood Ave. At age 16 she left high school to work in American Bridge to help support the family. During the war years, in August of 1947, she married her neighbor a returning World War II veteran, Tony Ordons with whom she had five children. Sadly Tony died in 1966 leaving her to raise their family on her own. She trained as a nurse's aid and worked for 22 years at Beaver Valley Geriatric Center. In 1988 she married Louis Harvatin. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Eagles in Ambridge having served as President and other offices.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen (James) Harr, Michael (Clemy) Ordons, Lorraine Edwards and James Ordons; grandmother of Mark Edwards, Amanda (Wilford) Cruz, and Brieanna Edwards; great-grandmother of Isabella; sister of Delores Chilberti; her companion, Leo Kokoski and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husbands and infant son and siblings, John Dofner, Ann Kolesar, Michael Dufinecz, Irene Pirosko, William Dofner, Margaret Bennett, and Jane Serak.
